Actor Akshay Kumar’s “Kesari 2” continues to perform well at the box office, even as it enters its second week.
The film, a sequel to the 2019 hit Kesari, had an impressive start, earning Rs 7.84 crore on its opening day. Despite a slight dip in collections afterward, the movie has shown strong growth due to positive word-of-mouth. With no major releases in the coming days, Kesari 2 is steadily gaining momentum.
As of Day 9, Kesari 2 has earned an estimated total of Rs 57.79 crore at the box office. Trade analysts are optimistic about the film’s continued success, citing its solid content and growing audience support.

According to film trade analyst Taran Adarsh, this is a rare feat in today’s cinema landscape. The opening day collection had benefited from the Good Friday holiday, but the second Friday’s earnings were still impressive, bringing in Rs 4.05 crore. The second Saturday’s earnings grew by an impressive 77.78 percent, totaling Rs 7.20 crore.
